A pharmacy in Mexico’s capital, Mexico City, is taking on some of the countrys biggest pharmacies, with the pharmacy opening a 24-hour pharmacy to help patients stay safe.
The pharmacy, called El EZABY, opened its doors to patients at 1 p.m.
“This is a really great moment to start a 24/7 pharmacy,” Dr. Juan Carlos Salinas, the head of the pharmacy, told the Associated Press.
Patients can purchase products like prescription medication, vitamins, cosmetics, household items and more.
It also sells the drugs they need to treat conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
El EOZABYE opened its first location in January.
The Mexican city of Acapulco is home to the world’s second-largest concentration of pharmacies and has a population of roughly 30 million people.
The U.S. has been trying to boost the supply of pharmacy products, which are more expensive in the U.K. and other parts of Europe, but it hasn’t had much success.
