Covered California: How to access health care in 24 hours article California Health Insurance Exchange (CHI) employees and visitors can get a 24-hour pharmacy for $5 per day at their local pharmacy, for a maximum of $12.50 per visit.
The state also has a 24/7 emergency medical service, including an ambulance, first aid and dental services.
The 24-Hour Pharmacy is available at the Los Angeles County Health Care System, in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Monica counties, and at several hospitals throughout California.
Patients can also purchase medication at the L.A. County Health Department, at L.E.K.O. pharmacies, at Safeway, Kroger, Walgreens, Costco, Target and CVS.
